Just shift your business elsewhere as I've done.
But doesn't that mean missing out on programmes you may want to
watch? I can't believe that everything you'd like to see is always
available in a DOG free format... Ok, most films and 'large scale'
drama series eventually turn up on DVD, but I'm sure many smaller
'one off' dramas and factual type programmes never do...

In an ideal world firstly no broadcaster would be so insulting and
philistine to smear DOG *** on TV pictures and secondly all content
should be available via DVD.
But sadly, this world is not, and never will be ideal...
True.
To me it is a matter of integrity, self-respect, and principle never
to accept the legalised criminal vandalism of video material and to
never pay homage to marketing scum.
And I don't.
So your answer to my question is; yes, you would miss out on a
program you really wanted to watch, if it was only available in
DOGged format?? Well, I admire you sticking to your principles, if you
feel that
strongly, but do you really think anyone else(ie the broadcasters)
cares? For every person like you that refuses to watch a channel
because it has a DOG, there will be thousands (if not 10s of
thousands) that will not care/tolerate it/not even notice it's
there... Not intending to insult, just curious, but can I ask what
age-group
you're in. (I'd guess 50s or older...)
I would not want to watch a programme with DOG *** on it in much the
same way as I wouldn't particularly want to procreate with an ugly
unfit woman.
That's not a fair comparison, I asking about a programme that you would like
to watch. To use your analogy, would you refuse to 'procreate' (as you put
it) with an attractive, fit woman, just because she had a large and ugly
tattoo on her shoulder??
When I stopped funding the BBC in 2002, I did so having realised the
BBC had no interest in the purported alleged "minority" I am
supposedly in.
No insult inferred by you!
All I can say is the DVD and DVDrip market sectors serve my sort well.
So do you not watch documentaries or many of the one off dramas and other
programmes that are unlikely to ever be released on DVD?
So go on: What am I missing then? (Not intended as a prove someone
wrong argument!)
Sorry, I don't know what you mean, what ARE you missing then?? Unless you
mean the documentaries and dramas I refered to above...?
Oh, and you didn't answer my question about how old you were..
