Its a box ticking world we live in, where everyone ticks the box to say they
will comply, but try to get the service or whatever and you would think you
were asking if you could loan the Crown Jewels and disply them off the back
of a truck in a war zone.
I know these things, Disabled folk encounter box tickers every day.

I don't kniw if *I* understand who's really at fault after reading all
that.
""Now we have some good news. Since May 2006 there's been this pink
digital tick logo which is supposed to indicate everything is going to
work fine...""
People probably thought the Freeview logo meant that. And the DTT logo.
And the DVB-T logo...
""... And on top of that, shops are obliged to tell people if their set
won't work after switchover.""
Are they really? So if I buy a naff box from $supermarket Sharlene at the
checkout is going to tell me that? Or a little pop-up will appear when I
use the self-scan checkout? Will it be like the ones that call for a
supervisor whenever someone tries to buy alcohol?
