not to be rude, but am i the only one who finds it really sad when people
refer to their topfield manufactured machine as a toppy, and a humax as a
hummy?
it's almost an attempt to anthropomorphise their machine into being their
special friend.
There's probably an element of truth in that statement (more so in the
case of the Humax since it _isn't_ a contraction :-), but I use the name
"Toppy" since it saves a little on the typing and seems to be an
accepted contraction.
