But the Freeview Playback Spec would suggest that it *should* link all
variants.

Can you point me at the Freeview Playback spec please? That would seem to
be rather odd, especially given the <Channel>, <Channel+1> type channels.
Does this mean I should get two copies of everything :-(. ?
