I think Series Link has mixed blessings. Try to record only each
Wednesday BBC2 9pm Torchwood programme, for example. You can't. Thanks to
SL every variant in the week is recorded, included the dumbed down kiddies
version at 7pm!
That has everything to do with broadcasters misusing it and nothing to do
with SL per se. Each variant should be a series of its own. Personal
judgement as to whether that is better or worse than no SL at all ;-).
