Question for Bill

We don't do UHF installations (Yet) only Satellite with Multiswitches
etc. On our last job there was the usual communal TV system catering
for about 200 apartments. On the mast was a couple of antenna and a
satellite dish. In the TV room was a bank of channel filters/amps etc.
None of the cabling was labelled so I could not tell which cables came
from where and where they went. In each apartment was a double socket
marked "TV" and "SAT". As we were doing our secondary installation we
obvioulsy encountered their wiring etc. They seemed to be running two
lots of cables to each outlet from what looked like two seperate lots
of splitters, but nowhere was any Multiswitches used. My question is:-
If indeed this was a Satellite feed to each apartment, how were there
distributing it? whats your best guess. TIA.
