The Evesham iPlayer, which is a rebadged Netgem box, fits the bill,
but it's nothing terribly special and when I looked at it for
RegHardware, it had a few annoying bugs. I don't know if they've been
fixed yet.
There are probably some others in different markets around Europe, and
I suspect that in the case of the interim service, it's mostly those
that we'll see on the market here, rather than UK-specifc models.
There may be a Technomate dual sat/dtt model, though I'm not sure if
it's available as a recorder or not.
The postings from one of the Amstrad guys on Digital Spy suggest that
the economics aren't that attractive for a product with a relatively
short life and a fairly small market, if all that's available is the
BBC HD channel 4 hours a night.
