Looks like a reasonable deal to me, other than it's not a true 16:9
widescreen.

If there is no way to display pictures in their correct aspect ratio
then it's not reasonable at all.-
Sure, but that doesn't mean it can't display 16:9 as I'm sure it must
also be able to display 4:3. No way to tell without taking a proper
look though.

Several TVs of that type cannot display either ratio correctly.
