My appartment has a door entry system that feeds the output
from a video camera into the TV aerial on a free channel so
that everyone in the block can see it on their TV.
When we go to digital reception and everyone discards their
analogue TVs will it be possible to feed a digital signal in the
same way or are we going to have to lose this system.
In the future, someone will probably produce a reasonably-priced digital "modulator" for this sort of application.
In the meantime, if anyone has a digital telly without an analogue tuner, they'll just have to use a separate spare telly for the camera. The main inconvenience is not having everything on one remote control.
