Au contraire. Despite being the doyen of aerial riggers - as a rigger
sans pareil - you remain au fait with a wide range of subjects (let us

posts). At least you do not have the idées fixes or bêtes noires of
some of the contributors, and you sometimes treat us to a tour de

pas or being gauche. You appreciate the raison d'être of this ng, and
recognise its esprit de corps which means that you feel no need to
resort to a nom de plume and can maintain your sang froid. You may not
be chic or avant-garde, but we miss you when you are hors de combat;
your sense of joie de vivre contributes a je ne sais quoi to the
proceedings.
