No such thing as a 'Scotish' MP. They may represent a Scottish
constituency which is part of the UK. So no different from any other.
Their duty is to represent the interests of those constituents. Perhaps
you'd prefer otherwise?
with Scottish constituencies. The point is that there are matters voted on
in the Commons which relate only to England because that particular matter
is devolved to the Scottish Assembly (and or Welsh Assembly). The result
is that "Scottish MPs" vote on matters which do not affect the people who
elected them.
Yeah, kinda like Maggie & co imposing the Poll Tax on Scotland before
England?
