Leading manufacturers do not produce shoddy goods.
You seem to be under the delusion that high price equals high quality.
You have a lot to learn, my son, a hell of a lot to learn.



Most set top boxes have problem with firmware updates and bugs ! I do not
belive that buying cheap or expensive goods enters into the equation. As
other people have posted this sony machine is a good purchase so let not
bitch about his choice of purchase and help the OP with contructive
coments.

Let him go back to the store and take a working unit untill they fix it.
