If it is any use to you, I have the 28inch version KV-28DX30U and have had 6 trouble-free years. The only complaint has been the lack of updates to the firmware. The EPG has never worked properly (but we don't use it anyway) and there are only 100 channel slots on the digital tuner so it cannot accommodate the latest 3-digit channel numbers without some manual readjustments.

The picture quality has been good and we have had nothing else to complain about.

Now planning to replace it shortly with a Bravia machine.
