How are you connecting the digital output to the amp? Optical links are
immune from impulse interference but if you are using a poorly shielded
electrical connection (particularly if it is long and routed alongside
mains cables), that might explain the problem.




Feeding 2 Dvd players into AV amp with 2 co-ax and 2 optical inputs, useing
2 short co-ax leads.
One Dvd player does have an optical output as well as the co-ax.
Will experiment with a better quaulity co-ax lead and get an optical lead
when next out, or via internet.
