Lazy and bright, a combination thats quite common these days.
A few things spring to mind :-
There's no such thing as can't, only won't
The easyist way of doing something is to get someone else to do it.
reminds me of being a child and deliberately making a poor job of washing up
so I wouldn't get asked again.
I would have said "If I do it you will lose a days pay. Would you like to
try again son? "
dunno about the virus thing (by definition aren't they bad? ) but I can
thread wires.
