Mine have been bad.

The PVR would have when pressing the on button. There was at least a 50%
chance that it wouldn't come on after pressing the on button. A couple of
times I just left it alone and it took 10 and 3 hours to actually come on!

Humax support are useless. The first email I sent was ignored. The second
one I got a response to telling me to upgrade the software but the email
didn't contain all of the attachments it was supposed to (not my fault, they
weren't actually attached). Got a response and the rest of the attachments.
Upgraded the software which didn't cure the problem. Emailed Humax again
and have heard nothing back. There 'technical support' guy was a one trick
pony and could only suggest upgrading software and wouldn't answer any of
the my other questions - problems with the MICOM etc.

Basically, when it worked it was fabulous and it's almost silent. If your's
works then you're sorted but if it doesn't send it back as you won't get
anything useful out of Humax. Mines gone back for a refund. I may get
another but I'm leaving it at least six months for these early problems to
be ironed out.
