Newbie to both group and DVD technology. I've just bought the sony HXD710 and after speanding ages trying to get it hooked up with ntl, tv, etc i wnted to play my holiay photos on it. According to the manual it can play jpeg photos.
It will load the photo's to the title page and i an see all one hundred minature photos but when i select one or the slide show they won't show and I ge the broken symbol on the screen. I am using CD -R disc. nyone got any ideas, it's supposed to be an all singing and all dancing system but wont play by holiday snaps!
I've got the same machine. It works fine for me.
However:
The disc must *only* contain JPEGs, anything else in addition results in an error message for me.
Are all the JPEGs in a root directory ? How was the disc recorded, on your PC ? or is the disc one of those awful Jessops etc efforts which seem to wrap the files up in some proprietary nonsense ?
