Freeview queries

I was thinking of getting a freeview box for Christmas...but had a couple of
questions

Now i've seen dvd-recorders with freeview built in and I've seen HDD with
freeview built in but the HDD recorders were a bit more expensive than i was
hoping for so I was wondering if there was such a thing as a TV card for my
PC that did freeview that I could record from or if there were any freeview
boxes that were easily connected to the PC to use for a recorder. Idealy
I'd like to record in divx format or dvd quality mpg format....

Any ideas?
