Why "it's" (= it is!!)?

channels be transferred to Freeview?

They were not prior to the creation of TUTV, so my guess is that it is not
an automatic assumption.

Neither was Sky when it started, or the BBC or ITV for that matter! Not
sure of the relevance of your thinking about availability of TUTV compatible
boxes.
