Lighter than the previous prolink 3 series. There isn't much it can't do. In fact there isn't anything i havn't got it to do. No regrets here.

Is this the one with the screen on the side? If so I've had a play with one and I like it. Not quite as capable as the 'proper' Promax but largely makes up for its few shortcomings by its extreme portability.

The one at the CAI Tradefair had incomplete software.
Ideal for the the above average installer. Automatically detects what your on, ie analogue or digital and switches modes to give ya signal levels, C/N, BER, CSI and MER. Good sized screen. works well in direct sunlight. should be costing about £1500
Should be a lot better than the prolink 3+c.
I prefer my Prolink 4C Premium.

Yes I have been on the verge of purchasing a Prolink 4C Premium for a while now, but the £4000 price tag and the almost 6kg weight have kept me holding back.
One thhing i like about the programmable buttons, drive west and drive east DiSEqC functions for easier motorised installations.
