Are there not enough of us, having been forced out of our jobs by the
BBC up here and Granada to form a very experienced pool of talent.
Or are we older experienced ones still too expensive ?
Ah, but it's the production staff who are moving, the BBC doesn't need technical staff remember!
Something missed of these headline grabbing articles is that the money offered for relocation expenses is a drop in the ocean compared with the redundancy payouts for those who refuse to budge...
Still I'm sure the BBC accountants have done their sums and the savings by moving from W12 are fully justified :)
