I've seen people on TV wearing those things. Very odd looking and
distracting on first seeing them as looks like someone has stuck a childs
fluffy toy on them. Especially some of the bright colour ones.

Snag with an effective windshield is it doesn't scale exactly with the
mic. So will be much more intrusive with a personal the size of a
fingernail.
