I think that people in London who have bought radio controlled clocks
should
club together and demand compensation from the government for the
purchase
price of the clocks. We bought them in good faith, we were not warned of
the
possibility that the time signal would be withdrawn and the clocks would
be
made useless, but this has been allowed to happen and it is not our
fault.
We should enlist the help of leading manufacturers of the clocks, such as
Oregon Scientific, who may well be interested in funding legal action.
The inhabitants of Scotland, though, now provided with a signal that
they've
been missing out on to a large extent for many years despite paying for
it are now Sorted For Time. You could rewrite almost the whole of that
paragraph the opposite way round. Was anyone taking any notice before?
Not a bit of it. Now that London has a problem, though, all of a sudden
it's a big deal, and must be dealt with. On you go.
The best answer would be to use Anthorn and Rugby synchronised on 60 kHz,
like Westerglen and Droitwich are synchronised on 198 kHz.
