That was an unbelievable performance, he virtually stepped over his
fences and never looked in any semblance of danger at all. Managed to get
12/1 before the Game Spirit so very happy but sometimes the money pales
into significance with the buzz you get from just watching a performance
like that....pure quality and could win 3 or 4 Champion Chases and could
even step up in trip to take a Gold Cup, he could be THAT good.
He didn't even appear to be blowing when he finished. Already looks like
he could get 3 miles. Impressed.

I cannot remember ever seeing a horse win the Champion, "on the bridle" only
dampner I can think off is that being a young French bred he may peak in his
esarly years,I hope not I really do.We are going through a great time for NH
racing with so many outstanding Champions.
