The point I made, Alan, is that the winner was better able to cope with the conditions. From what I saw and read, allplayers were rained on, just some more than others.

Nope, some not at all on the first day , and the first day was deciding. Some players didnt even hit a ball on the first day and had sunshine through their first round on friday. So in a way it was a bit of luck. Then again TW wasted the back nine and i think he played that on friday in good weather.
