The only way I can see of making the winning team less predictable is to
draw the teams by lot, but then no one can associate with anything and
what
do you put on the Morton Plate?.

I agree with your comments Malcolm, the point I was making was that
the numbers do not match up. We could still have a Captain for each
team but selection would not be determined by location. Usenet has no
borders and unless someone has a particular reason for being
associated with North or South then I really dont see the point. Other
than that I think we are going to have to redraw the map.
However it is done I will still be happy to turn up to meet and play
with anyone from this group.


The Morton Plate can be used in whichever way the group feels most
comfortable with.
