Horseman of the Apocalypse (he's never even seen a)

Bastards

Like a dose of the herpes, I'm back.

I bring bad tidings but as youse cunts never took much notice of my words of
wisdom and sallies of sagacity I don't feel too bad pricking your bubbles of
contentment, shredding your comforters and pissing on your slippers of
placidity.

The world as we know it is coming to an end but first off, the important stuff.

I missed you like I missed the tinea between my toes once it cleared up. At
first the itching and shedding of flesh is a fucker, ministering manky digits
becomes a thing to do to while away the hours. Once it disappears you realise
just how empty your life has become, and so it is with UKSF. Oh, I've tried to
fit in elsewhere when the urge arose but once you've suckled this teat you can't
wean yourself off farcical milk in a hurry. Cunts elsewhere need to be led by
the hand, are slaves to the visual laughtrack of emoticons.

p.s Robert of the Polesons, it wasn't I to introduce Ghey to the froup, off the
top of my pretty head I'd say it was Kully or the Nunnster.

Life as we know it is drawing to a close but I haven't finished talking about me
yet.

My wife destroyed the lean balance on my credit card about 2 months ago and in
the short space of minutes I lost my easynews access, excised from their account
after almost 5 years, a circumcision and just as bloody, then to rub salt into
my ragged wound I lost my cozystrides hosting. Dim, dark days in the House of
Cypher.

Before I tell you why you shouldn't turn your pretty noses up at cannibalism I'd
just like to say I finally got my credit card woes sorted and regained my
easynews account last night. `why?' you might ask, am I only getting in touch
now? I, via tits and flange, come first, UKSF a close second. And by second I
mean third.

I've had a very quick scan of the headers in here and see no `RUN FOR TEH
HILLS' post by the Horowitz known as Joe. Can you say disappointed? I can, did,
am. Hmmm...candid amateurs...concentration wavering...

I sent the Joe a gheymail insinuating he might like to save feckless froupettes
by passing on my dire diatribe but it appears he has overlooked all those
salutory archive nominations and decided to let you dodge the zombies on yer
own.

What on earth am I talking about?

The following...

Not long after losing my access to nekkid chickybabes I was casting about
forlornly for a way to realign my life, curtailed as it was. I decided to check
out the state of global warming but then things got very hairy, so hairy it
almost seemed as if I still had access to the nekkid chickybabes but we won't go
down that path, eh?

Global warming is the big daddy `*** you, cunts' to be sure but it is going to
affect us a lot quicker, in tandem with other events, than the melting of the
icecaps will. And those melting icecaps will affect us soon enough, easily
within our lifetimes, because the computer models are only as good as the data
that goes into them and scientists are discovering new data all the time, data
that has some of them very concerned.

So let's get down to the doom and gloom, because you need to know so you can
prepare yourselves and educate those around you. SOme of this you may already
know, hopefully you do.

At the end of this post I'll list several links you must check out to get a
deeper appreciation of the trouble ahead.

America is in dire straits, not just politically but financially, ergo,
economically. When the US economy contracts rapidly, and it will, we all suffer.
We will suffer because our own economies are essentially determined by the
voodoo practiced on Wall Street. And voodoo it is, I've spent a lot of time
trying to wrap my head around the US fiscal system but because I am not versed
in the Black Arts I cannot understand it.

But here is what I do fathom, when the US dollar was backed by the gold standard
it meant the dollar was worth something but it hasn't been for many years, now
the Fed prints fiat(1) money when it wants to, this paper money is essentially
worthless, serving only to prop up a fictiously healthy economy. In March 06 the
Fed stopped publishing the M3 money supply, they don't want people to know how
much new money is entering the market.

In short, buy gold* and silver* and/or invest in energy related stocks* because
energy is the next billyclub bouncing upside your head.

The world has finite resources but humanity has an incredible capacity for
growth, we are at 6.5 Billion and rising fast. Unfortunately, the finite
resources at our disposal and the utilisation of current technologies only
realistically supports a population of about 1 Billion. We are in for a massive
die-off and our politicians either can't see it coming or are too afraid to
admit it because of the panic that would ensue. So how did we manage to arrive
at a population of 6.5 Billion? Cheap energy, as in a seemingly inexhaustable
supply of oil. Well, that oil wasn't going to last forever and we are the
lucky ones to see it happen, right under our noses. Now, if it was just a case
of no longer being able to fill up the tanks in our cars we'd muddle on somehow
but things are much more serious than that. So much more serious. Look around
the room you are sitting in...unless your name is Osama (you lurker you) pretty
much everything you can see is petroleum based or was created using energy that
used petroleum in some fashion.

The biggest poke in the eye though is the food you eat to stay alive relies on
cheap available energy. No production, you starve, unless you grow it yourself.
And you'd better be prepared to defend that cabbage when the slavering droids
realise you have a cabbage.

We will not be the first people to face these issues either, this has happened
numerous times to mankind, those living on Easter Island are but one example. To
be sure, we won't all die out (unless Global Warming goes bat*** and renders
the planet a hostile environment) but it is your duty to be counted amongst
those that survive any initial breakdown, to outlast those around you who
don't/can't, either because they couldn't adapt or weren't prepared.

Don't sit back in your chair and think I'm talking about events in some far off
future because I'm not, if you have small children they will be brought up in a
totally different world from the one you and I grew up in. There are numerous
energy replacements being bandied about as reliable methods to overcome
petroleum shortages but other than the nuclear option the amount of energy
harnessed by these options will never replace the reliance on oil, at current
population levels. Don't take my word for this though, check out the links below
and make your own assumptions. About the nuclear option, you don't throw up a
nuclear plant in a couple of months, they take years to build and bring online,
5 to 7 years if I recall correctly. It is exceedingly likely we don't have
anywhere near that long to prepare.

Enjoy this upcoming World Cup because I have a feeling it might be the last big
football tournament we see for a while.

I'll stop now because I'm fucking tempted to blab about a load of other things
I've been familiarising myself with...ok, since you asked, here's a trivial one.
After reading about the food issue I was dismayed to discover that those we
elect into power have the fucking cheek to decide there is an acceptable level
of `pus' in our milk. Our cows are fed grains not in their normal food group so
they have to be fed antibiotics to help them deal with resulting infections, pus
makes its way into the milk we drink.

I drank black coffee for a few days after reading that fucking article. I also
worked out I was consuming 4050 spoonfuls of sugar during the course of a year
so I binned the sweet thief of life and now I'm using a dab of honey to ease the
grimace effect after having a sip of java. *** sake, I even tried Soy milk for
5 minutes but that curdled or seperated and sulked in the cup looking most
pissed off at events. I thought it might have been the honey but it turned out
to be the hot water. Triple *** sandwich.

Hell, I stop slower than a coal-fired train. Btw, you can forget about coal as a
viable source too. I have many more links than the ones listed below, if peeps
are interested I can post a shitload in any followups.

That all said, I can understand why Joe didn't want to be the one to tell youse,
he wants your collective love, I just want to see you nekkid.

*Gold, Silver, Stocks

I have no funds to buy any of these fucking things, boy do I regret using the
money we borrowed to do up our broths, if I'd bought gold when I first twigged
onto the upcoming crisis I'd be on my way to fatcatedness now. Some of the
online dealers I've been listening to seriously expect gold to reach at least
$2000 an ounce when the general public jumps onboard.

Financial.

- start listening to the mp3s on this site, Jim Puplava interviews a lot of
interesting money people and authors of financial/peak oil books. I've become a
devotee of listening to his advice, unfortunately I have no money to do anything
about it but I can at least advise those around me, even though none of them are
listening to me.

To quickly get up to speed on the peak oil problem listen to the Matthew Simmons
interview on the following page:
