It does the same thing as AdAware (AdAware has been around for a while,
basically before spyware was called spyware and was called adware,
IYSWIM) but slightly better, according to the Group Tests of Anti Spyware
software I've seen recently. The best antispyware costs money tho and the
Microsoft one is free.
