Your education says summation is limited to number sums. It isn't. Your education didn't do much for you then.

It is not limited to , i never said that, but all words have their appropriate uses.The appropriate use here was for summary.
No summation was one word you could of used as well as summary.

Some people would call a unclean kitchen a dirty kitchen. Both versions mean the same.

Regional differences can account for most choices in use of language, but again SUMMATION can be used in the way it was used, just isn't commonly used.
