We need a few good players, not many squad players. One reason seeing

Kewell, Crouch, Pennant won't be going anywhere. The whole point of the EPL is that you need a pool of 16-19 players that are good. We all know Rafa likes his roration so why would he ship out players that can do the job.

Alves would be good but that diving lark would need to be kicked into touch.

I can't see Lennon leaving spurs either.

Simao is a left winger as well surely? He would be good to get into the squad if it costing us "nowt"

I'd reckon Darren Bent would be a good signing. Pacy, young and a proven goal scorer with a relegation club. He might be expensive but so are all the others we've been linked with and they will probably need settling in time. Or Tevez! or dang it both.
