If it was Ted's first racist post then maybe you could say Jay over
reacted, but it wasn't. If you want I can provide links where Ted
says he wants to use the word 'coloured' even though we all know it's
not acceptable nowadays.

and i know plent of black people who dont mind being called coloured, do you know why? because they are by their very own admittance.

So what? I don't mind being called names, but that doesn't mean everyone doesn't.

he also suggests black people are racist
(as he did to Jay yesterday) because they hold MOBO awards,

lets look at this objectivley, we have radio 1 extra a station set up to promote "urban" music which is black originated we have the mobo awards which is dedicated to music with ethnic origins. if i launched a music station which is dedicated to music with white origins only, i'd be hung up as britains biggest racist, not by black people but by PC groups made up of mainly white people.

i drove through smethwick the other day on the way to the builders yard,
and seen two things that made me think.
1. a housing association for ethnic tennants only. would anyone be allowed
to start a housing association for white people only?
2. an asian funeral directors, with a sign in the window i quote"asians
only" again would anyone get away with this for white only?

Of course not! But white people aren't disadvantaged. We get all the breaks: best jobs, easier to find a place to live, don't get abused walking down the street because of our race, don't have fucking ridiculous political parties trying to kick us out of the country, etc. Would you have a problem with say, parks that are near shop entrances that are ONLY for people that are not handicapped. Of course you would, because we don't need them. Are you going to protest on the grounds of age discrimination for not being allowed to play in the under 10's football league? Of course not. It's the same principal.

and says
he wants to be able to wear 'White Power' t-shirts because black
people wore black power t-shirts in the 60s.

whats wrong with that? if you are saying black people can and white people cant. then thats hypocritical and a case of one rule for us one for everyother fucker.

Of course there is. There's been one rule for us and one rule for everyone else for a long time, it's just that recently, it's be 'every other fucker' that gets the break from these rules for a change. You can't oppress a minority group of hundreds of years, then give them some rights and expect everything to be up and running straight away. Sure, there are large percentages of them that have top jobs, etc, but I'm sure they would agree that it was harder for them than it was for you or me.
