Are you using Outlook Express? If so

Left Click on first message

Scroll up/down to the last one of the messages

Shift+left click on last message (all of the messages in between will
highlight)

Then press the 'delete' key and a pop up will ask if you want to permanently
delete them

Say yes and they're gone.
