He went to university in Oxford, so it would have in RH-world.

Two years *after* leaving university [or the armed forces, etc]
under your "rules". Bad news for Cowdrey, May, Dexter, etc., who were
already Test players by then in real life.
Nope. Cowdrey went to School in Kent, May in Surrey (Charterhouse). Dexter went to Radley (Berkshire)

And to university in Oxford, Cambridge and Cambridge resp., which
under your rules would have disqualified them [unless they took no family
holidays, never played an away match, etc]. Luckily, ...

residence in Sussex, even if he lived there only [say] four months per
year. Your six-month rule is purest fantasy.

You misunderstand the entire nature of the OB network. Did
they not let you join the club?
Translation: Dr B-M displays his failure to understand he was never in the OB club. RH

Translation: RH shows yet again how little he understands.

If...if...if.... RH

Of course. You won't tell us what the allegations were [beyond
vague innuendo] nor what the evidence was, so the rest of us can only
guess which of a number of plausible scenarios may have applied. You
asked how something was possible -- we have given you at least four ways
that are perfectly reasonable and there are dozens more less likely ones.
Until you give us more information, that's as far as we can go. You have
still produced no evidence at all that the Lyons cheated, nor that Gloucs
or Somerset did, nor that MCC broke their own rules.
