It's not an OE problem on it's own, it's when an OE user is replying
to someone posting via Google Groups that the chevrons do not appear.
You don't use GG and I use OE and the chevrons appeared in this
message as they should. They did not appear in a reply i made to
v0.91who posts via GG. In that case I manually added some '.........' to
seperate the replies.
There is a small addon for Outlook Express called Outlook-QuoteFix
backthat will solve the problem. I mentioned it in this ng a year or so
and it does work.

The simple cure would seem to be for people to stop using Google Groups
for posting to newsgroups. Can't see it happening, unfortunately.
