Frozen toilet waste is a common cause and the colour I believe is
bluish (from the chemicals used).

Surely this is a joke (urban myth)? Aircraft can't/don't dump toilet waste
whilst flying.

If I remember right, the toilet waste has to be mechanically pumped out of
the plane by groundcrew at the airport where it is then taken away to be
treated.
