Approaching 60 cm of snow in the past week
Even from our standards it has been remarkably snowy in S Ontario.
We've already reached our average total for a winter. The plows have
piled up the snow so high along the road that I literally can't see
cars coming when I go to leave my driveway! It is only minus 11C now
and snowing still. Last night the snow fell hard with a NE wind
gusting to 50 km/h with about 20 cm of powdery, drifting accumulation.
It would be even be deeper, but a one-day rain and thaw knocked it
down.
