Front went through Birmingham (Winterbourne) c0930, heavy rain with very
squally winds and a bit of hail: 3C drop in temperature in a few minutes,
but since recovered, but with drier air.

The rain was heavy for a short time in St Albans but the wind was stronger
earlier in the morning than when the cold front passed through. Nothing
exceptional about it as you say.
