Oxfam blames global warming but that report also suggests that
it's due to population increase.
I suspect it's a combination of the two.
Although thinking about it, what was the criteria in the 1980's
for defining a 'weather disaster'?
Number of people killed, damage to property?
And if the definition has changed sice then the numbers aren't comparable.
