More disturbingly (seeing as I work in the insurance industry) - I got
wind (pardon the pun) of - allegedly - a UK-based insurer that was at
least thinking of buying more insurance cover for itself on the back
of Piers' forecast.

Gobsmacking. How can these unverified forecasts be allowed to seep
into a decision-making process. Stunning.
