As my forecasting skills lead me to believe there will be no rain overnight
(that's done it!) the monthly rainfall for Laindon, S.Essex was 70mm.
Highest by far since last October and surely some help to the depleted water
resources.

177.4 mm this month here in Haytor Dave. More than twice (206%) our May average
of 86 mm (normally the driest month of the year). Ground is fine and everything
is growing well. Looking forward now hopefully to 2 or 3 weeks totally dry
weather - bring it on!
