The normal ascent charts are obvious; it's the x axis.
However, this one

isn't obvious. It shows the temp and the dew point clearly, and it
looks like the x axis must be the temperature, but there are no
numbers on it.
It's a tephigram - a rare treat on the Internet! The temperature
isotherms are the ones labelled T=0, T=10, T=20 etc., and the Dry
Adiabats are the ones labelled [theta] = 10, [theta]=20 etc. For those
of us with a Met Office background, these charts *are* the diagrams we
are used to; see ---

(It's not quite right, because the Dry Adiabats and Isotherms should
cross at 90°)
