Do you recall if he specified from which direction this weather is approaching? Unlikely to be from the NE, I suppose, but if it does happen to get here first I'll let you know so it won't be a surprise. Assuming I recognise this 'weather', of course.
On the other hand, in the more likely case that it gets to you first and seems to be coming this way, please do let me know, so that I can be prepared.
