An addendum to the above. I have just been out to check on my sheep (the ewes are in a shed getting ready for lambing) and I walked into very heavy snow. The concrete yard had about 2cm of snow on it (snow had previously melted on it) so the road will be well covered as well. I don't think I will be getting any post tomorrow.
More snow showers throughout this evening here on the S Wales coast. Roads and pavements are quite white now. The Meteosat animation shows a direct line of showers from N Wales down to the Swansea-Port Talbot-Porthcawl region, and looks like more to come before the morning.
Should be good for photos first thing.
