So, according to the news today Britain is in danger of having a tropical
climate by the year 3000. Did I hear them right? We are in DANGER of
having a tropical climate?!
Now, pardon my ignorance, but aside from having far more interesting
weather systems (and admittedly more dangerous ones at times), a tropical
climate in Britain sounds pretty damn good to me!
Still on the subject of global warming, there was an interview with a
coastal resident the other day talking about how his house was in danger
because of the erosion of the coastline. Again, pardon my ignorance, but
what in the hell does global warming have to do with the erosion of the
coastline? The coast has been eroded by the sea ever since there was a
coastline!

From that nutty group the Tyndall Centre for climate change. I have neverheard such rubbish from people who should really know better.
Does anyone seriously think that we will be burning fossil fuels in
nearly 1,000 years time. What crap.
I doub the human race will be burning oil in 100 years time let alone 1,000
years. Forecasts like this are like the loony left inner city councils of
the 1980s.
