Indeed!
In all seriousness though, after hearing about some of the daft accidents
people were having around here on Friday with very visible snow and ice -
goodness knows how things will be if there's black ice in the morning rush
hour.
I'd say freezing rain is far more deserving of a warning than a few
centimeters of snow - or millimeters, as seems required nowadays.
Ground temperature just got above freezing here today (+0.2ºC), but will
already be well below zero again. Freezing rain is probably likely here,
but I reckon it'll snow firstly. No sign of gritters thus far!
