Yes, following the recent code changes METARs that are retransmitted with a
Trend added remotely (Heathrow, Norwich and Manchester) are sent as a COR.
This is seemingly causing the missing web data as Phil suggests. However,
some do 'escape'
http://weather.uwyo.edu/cgi-bin/wyowx.fcgi?TYPE=metar&DATE=current&HOUR=current&UNITS=M&STATION=EGLL
possible reasons for this are the Trend being added late (i.e. the original
METAR makes it onto the broadcast) or the Trend wasn't added at all (as is
the case with the 3 AUTO METARs overnight) - although I'm sure fairly sure
the Trend was added to the 0320Z, 0420Z and 0550Z last night, hmmm.

The COR METARs are being ingested correctly into the MetO aviation site and
Avbrief.

IIRC Heathrow Met Office officially closes on Tuesday morning and the SYNOPs
then become automatic.

Yep, however there's still a large number of stations who are still
reporting cloud at 5000ft or above..
