A max of 30.2°C here at Warlingham, now (1350Z) down to 29°C.
Not quite sure why, but it may be the screen was shaded from the sun
for a spell by a tree next door.
Philip Avery said it could get to "34, or even 35 in some places"
on the 1255 R4 forecast. Rather silly. He also has the annoying habit
of addressing the forecast to the R4 continuity announcer. Perhaps
they're having an affair, but it's bad manners and a bit cheesy, isn't
it, Hector? (That's my cat).
