Thunderstorm Penzance.

It started thundering here at 09:15, passed right overhead around 10:40,
eventually faded away around 11:30. The nearest flashes only a few hundred
yards away (time between flash & thunder < 1 second). Great fork lightning
over the bay.

Absolutely no rain reached the ground in Penzance, despite frequent close
thunder and the 10:30 rainfall radar showing red echos.

Hazy sun now.
