It seems quite early for a display and I missed it. I'll look out
again tonight but as you know, no guarantee for two consecutive
displays.

First spotted in late twilight ~1045BST [0945UT] above the northern
horizon as it emerged from the silhouette of lower tropospheric cloud
over a 30 degree horizonal arc.
Unlike regular cirrus cloud it stood magnification well and in
binoculars it showed considerable sharp structure as horizontal blue
strands. It faded ~20 minutes later as the illuminating sun dipped
further below the horizon. Only regret - I forgot to bring the
camera;-(.
Did anyone else see it? An end to a perfect evening with Jupiter,
Saturn , Mars, Alberio and M57 viewed in 11" Celestron in the dome.
