Indeed! I thought the bit about radio didn't make any concessions to the target audience!
A most enjoyable evening, especially "The Sky at Night" (Hi, Pete !) I was amazed by the images, especially Damian Peach's Clavius.
But I think George Darwin would have been startled to hear that the distance of the Moon was thought to be "fixed for all time". And the narrator of 'Days That Shook the World' referred to "the dark side of the Moon" :-)
